Polyester (PET) strapping is a more advanced alternative to PP strapping, especially in applications where greater strength and security are required. Thanks to its mechanical properties, PET tape successfully replaces even steel tape in many cases. They are most commonly produced in green or black, and are also available in wider dimensions (19, 25, and 32 mm) with increased resistance to stretching and external influences. In many industries, they represent an efficient and economical alternative to steel straps. Compared to PP straps, PET straps have a higher tensile strength and allow for a greater degree of tensioning, making them suitable for applications where long-lasting and reliable cargo securing is required.
Manual application
PET straps for manual packaging come in widths of 12, 16, 19, 25, and 32 mm and thicknesses of 0.60 to 1.27 mm. It is suitable for all standard tying tools with metal and wire fasteners, as well as for battery-operated and pneumatic tools. Recommendation: for packaging medium and heavy packages, as well as for pallet packaging of goods (pallet weights from 600 kg to 5000 kg).
